Afghanistan Campaign Mini Medal
Presidential Executive Order 13363 established the Afghanistan Campaign Medal.
On the front of the medal, above a range of mountains is a map of Afghanistan in the center with the inscription, “AFGHANISTAN CAMPAIGN” around the top. On the reverse side on top is a radiating demi-sun superimposed by an eagle’s head. Inscribed across the bottom half of the reverse side are the three lines, “FOR SERVICE IN AFGHANISTAN” all enclosed by a laurel wreath symbolizing victory.
