The Multinational Force and Observers Miniature Medal is awarded to recognize international military members who participated in support of the ceasefire zone between Egypt and Israel after the Yom Kippur War of 1973. The U.S. military authorized this award to be issued to service members who completed at least 170 cumulative days of services.
